I’m Jessica Botelho, an Occupational Therapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. I have over a decade of experience supporting people through periods of stress, change, illness and uncertainty. My background includes mental health, and I have experience in hospital, rehabilitation, primary care and community settings. I bring an occupational therapy perspective to mental health care, connecting emotional wellbeing with daily life.
I hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. My training includes CBT, CBT-I, DBT, CPT, ACT and motivational interviewing. I continue to learn through clinical supervision, consultation and ongoing education. In therapy, we can draw on these approaches in ways that fit your needs and goals.
Beyond my professional roles, I’m a second-generation Canadian and a mother of two. I navigated loss during my formative years, and those are some of the experiences I bring to my work.
I believe therapy does not always have to feel heavy. We are partners in this work, and I want you to feel comfortable showing up as yourself. You do not need to have the right words or everything figured out. We can start wherever you are.
